| บทคัดย่อโครงการ | Abstract This research investigates effective foreign language learning strategies within community-based enterprises, focusing on the TMP Product Community Enterprise and Ratchawathrara Saengsongla Group in Ko Yo Community, Muang Songkhla. It addresses the critical gap in tailored language learning models for community enterprises, where limited English proficiency hinders economic participation, a nd capitalize on opportunities that require a foreign language communication. This study aimed to design a model for community-based foreign language learning management, evaluate the model’s achievement, and explore the participants’ and stakeholders’ attitudes towards the model. The research employed purposive sampling to select stakeholders and members from the two community enterprises. Data collection instruments included a community English learning package delivered via an Electronic book (E-book), questionnaires, semi-structured interviews, and focus groups. Statistical analyses involved the E1/E2 efficiency metrics, percentages, means, standard deviations, and Wilcoxon two-related samples tests using the SPSS/PC program. The findings revealed that the efficiency of the community English learning patterns, defined as the TMP Start Up Electronic Book and Ratchawat Saesongla Beginner Electronic Book, met the criteria with E1/E2 values of 65.0/81.6 and 52/76, respectively. While the E1 fell below the assigned criteria (80/80 and 70/70), E2 exceeded it, demonstrating the model’s effectiveness. The post-learning improvement in English communication skills was significant, with (Epost - Epre) values of 36.6 and 24, and participants’ achievement showed statistically significant enhancement at the 0.05 level. Additionally, participants and stakeholders expressed highly positive attitudes (X̄ = 4.31) towards the model’s role in improving English skills for community enterprise development. The study underscores the potential of community-based learning models, particularly those leveraging digital tools like ebooks, to enhance language proficiency and empower local enterprises. These findings have significant implications for sustainable community development, suggesting that tailored, technology-supported language learning can bridge communication gaps and foster economic growth in localized contexts.
