| บทคัดย่อโครงการ |
The purpose of study was to examine the causes and levels of English learning anxiety among Thai undergranduate student in Thailand. The participants of this study consisted of 57 undergranduate studentmajoring in Hotel and Tourism at college of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya, Trang of Hospitality and Tourism, Rajamangala University of Technology Srivijaya,Trang campus in Thailand.The instrument used for collecting the data was asetof Freige Language Classroom Anxiebty Scale (FLCAS) questionnaire. The questionnaire was distributed directiy to 57 student and the number returned was 57 or 100 % Quantitative data was analyzed using mean and standard deviation. The research results showed that the students experienced the high level of Test Anxiety (M=3.49) and Fear of Negative Evaluation (M=3.47) The top three anxiety atatements, which all had mean values exceeding 4. were : "I get nervous when the English teacher asks question I haven"t prepared in advavce " (M=4.30): i start to panic when I have to speaking in English class" (M=4.18). These items seemed to reflect a generally negative ang passive attitude towards the English languade learning. |
