| บทคัดย่อโครงการ | Objectives are to study road safety, sidewalk problems and evaluate accessibility of tourist attraction in Muang district of Songkhla province. Accessibility tool was developed to evaluate tourist attraction by road transport network. Tourist attraction included 15 places which classified by 3 categories such as natural attraction, historical attraction and art cultural and activity attraction. Research's results consists of accessibility tool provides reasonable outputs that tourists could access tourist attractions via by main roads for example Chalatus beach and Walking street. In the other hands, tourists might face inconvenient situation to access tourist attraction such as temple because of limited of road network. In addition, road safety audit was implemented for tourist attractions. 10 main factors which might be caused of road accident consist of 1) intersection at curve 2) unclear road marking 3) lack of lateral clearance of road 4) lack of safe sight distance 5) hazardous curve 6) improper intersection 7) steep slope of road 8) construction site 9) hazardous road side safety and 10) traffic volume. Tourists should easier access tourist attractions which near main roads, high quality of pavement surface and less black spots. Recommendation for this research such as road safety and connectivity of road network should be improved by traffic engineering and highway engineering. |
